A small-town boy from Uttaranchal, Pawan made quite an impression while playing a corporate cricket tournament and soon found himself in the Delhi Ranji team. The 24-year-old left-arm quick made his first-class debut for Delhi in the 2009-10 season. However, it wasn’t until the next season that he picked up 22 wickets in six matches and made a huge impact. Suyal was roped in by the Mumbai Indians a couple of season ago and got his solitary IPL start in 2013. He will be eager to get more playing time and showcase his talent on the big stage this season.

Pawan Suyal is a left-arm fast bowler from the north Indian city region of Pauri Garwhal, who landed in Delhi in the summer of 2008 hoping to further his cricketing aspirations. After finding a place in a local corporate tournament, Suyal caught the attention of the city’s selectors and was included in the Under-22 side in 2009. Following that, Suyal was included in Delhi’s Ranji probables and made the cut into the 15-man squad for the first two matches of the 2009-10 season.
