The top-order batsman from Punjab is a prolific run-scorer and an aggressive batsman. The youngster has also played for India Under-19s, but was unfortunate to miss the 2012 U-19 World Cup due to injury. A regular in his state side across formats, the batsman has also represented the India ‘A’ team as he looks to make his presence felt at the higher level. Recruited by the Kings XI Punjab ahead of 2013 season, he was retained by them before the 2014 auction and continues to be an integral part of the team.

A young opener of some promise, Manan Vohra made his first-class debut for Punjab in 2011-12, but made his mark only a couple of seasons later, with half-centuries against Vidarbha and Karnataka, and a matchwinning 187 against Jharkhand in the Ranji Trophy.

Manan was also a regular in the Kings XI Punjab line-up in IPL 2013, often batting at No. 3. He managed a few sparkling cameos, but didn’t make the most of those opportunities, scoring 161 runs in ten innings. Just a week after scoring that 187 against Jharkhand, Manan was also one of only two players retained by Kings XI for the 2014 IPL season.
